Suttle Lake
Take a good look at this jacket, because it might change a little in the future...

I first went to Suttle Lodge in 2017 as I was helping out my friends from Secret Supper for the Wintertide dinner.
Little did I know that 3 short years later I would move to Central Oregon and regularly go to Suttle Lake for foraging trips, swimming and sunbathing with friends, and date nights at the Lodge!

I have yet to rent a boat and spend the afternoon on the lake, stopping by the Boathouse for fries and soft serves when hunger strikes (adding this to my 2022 to-do list right now!). But Octave and I like to come to the Lodge when we don't feel like cooking and need to get out of the house. Truffle fries are always a good idea!

These were the last pictures I took before the cold arrived, and before I gave my sherpa jacket a little upgrade. I'm wearing the same yellow dress you've seen multiple times here, my only and favorite basket - which I reshaped by soaking it in the creek by my house - and last year's best purchase, the unofficial Central Oregon shoe: Blundstones!

That reminds me that I should give them a little TLC before the snow comes with my favorite local leather care products.

Oh, maybe I could write a list of winter activities! I'm so excited to take some time off and hunker down in our little tree house!
