An Early Fall Walk in the Dunes
Sometimes I buy clothes, and I appreciate them just as much.
For a minute I thought that we skipped fall and dove straight into winter, but I guess the reason it was so cold for a couple of days is that the sun couldn't poke through the smoke.
We escaped for a weekend on the coast and loved it so much that we did it again two weeks later. Even though most of my time was spent on the beach foraging for seaweeds, I managed to clean up one afternoon and shoot a couple of pictures in the dunes before we headed to town for dinner.
I bought this linen dress on a whim during a solo day in Paris this summer and only got to wear it a handful of times after that. But I love it so much that I'm considering trying to make my own version during the winter. Will I choose gingham again?
After such a hot and unbearable summer, this is the first year I'm appreciating fall weather. I'm trying to soak in the last cool mornings and warm days before I start hibernating.
