Movies I’ve Watched at 30,000 Feet
I love my noise-canceling headphones and make sure not to forget the audio input cable.
It never occurred to me to plan what I would watch on the plane. So, I usually end up uncomfortably scrolling with my arm up, considering watching a classic movie and finally choosing the cheesiest movie, if not an episode of Friends.
Here are the movies I've watched on my last trip back home to France:
- Am I OK? (2022)
Because I have this fascination for Dakota Johnson.
- It Ends with Us (2024)
I had no expectations, I didn't read the books and just wanted to see the interaction between the lead actors after being fed all the drama on Insta.
- All of Us Strangers (2023)
Aesthetic, unsettling, nostalgic, moving.
- My Old Ass (2024)
Came for Aubrey Plaza, and stayed for Maisy Stella, and wow that "Chad" character pulled at my heartstrings. I HIGHLY recommend this movie!
- We Live in Time (2024)
What a complex, beautiful and heart-wrenching story!
I don't think season 1 was available. I was at this point of the flight where nothing made sense anymore, I fell asleep a few times. I missed the Frasier banter, but the show fell pretty flat.
Do you ever think about what movies will be available to watch on the plane before a trip?
