A Family Heirloom Crochet Tube Skirt
From my mom and my grandma to me.

You might remember a crochet cardigan and a bag from last winter's styling challenge (see days 12 and 14). Well, my mom didn't stop there and made me the most form-fitting crochet tube skirt!

For context, my mom and grandma made (a few, I learned later) crochet bedspreads when my mom was a teen.
Now, a few decades later, and after another mother-daughter family heirloom collab, my mom was inspired to turn her creations into wearable pieces.
All I had to do was add a piece of elastic at the waist, and voilà!
I wore it this morning to walk to the coffee shop, and let me tell you, I could only take tiny little steps.
But I love it so much! It's a great conversation starter!

Is there a family heirloom you like to wear or carry?
