My Summer Bucket List
I went huckleberry foraging last night and checked one more item off my list!

I usually keep this list in my notes app, but I thought it deserved a spot on my blog. I’m not planning to check off every item this summer, it’s more of an ongoing adventure...
Some I crossed off last year, others I’ll save for next year, and a few I might do twice. I just want to make memories I can look back on and be sure I’ve made the most of this season I long for all winter.
To do
- Camp in my car
- Go rafting
- Ride the Crater Lake rim (planned!)
- Attend a show at the Greenhouse Cabaret
- Go horseback riding
- Watch an outdoor movie (maybe at the Tin Pan Theater)
- Try disc golf
- Go back to Joseph, OR
- Go overnight backpacking
- Meet a friend and soak at Bagby Hot Springs
- Celebrate a special occasion at HOST Supper Club in Camp Sherman
- Take a kite surfing class in Hood River
- Make popsicles
- Rent a paddle board at Suttle Lodge
- Hike in the desert
- Find the Basalt Eye
- Summit South Sisters (LOL!)
- Attend a Latin Dance night
- Camp at the Snow Peak Camp Field
- Zip line at Bachelor or go rafting, or both ($$$)
- Spend a day in Sunriver
- Make ice tea
Done
- Pick or forage berries (we went last night!)
- Gravel bike to Suttle Lake and Camp Sherman (the GravelCracker kick my butt)
- Eat my weight in ice cream (bonus point if I find an ice cream truck!)
- Get fresh veggies on Sundays at Sisters Farmers Market
- Hop on a ferry to the San Juan Islands
- Gravel Bike Ride in Bend
- Go for evening swims at Dark Lake
- Read a book by the river
- Make pizza in our garden
- Apply the temporary tattoo I got with a zine subscription
- Do another mountain bike shuttle (after Octave's accident)
- Play pickleball (I thought I'd hate it but I don't)
- Soak in as many hot springs as I can
- Hike the Hood River Pipeline Trail (it took me a while to find the "trailhead")
- Spend a night in a fire lookout
- Go tubing/float the river (get a PFD!)
- Have dinner at Lake Creek Lodge
Also, I almost forgot I also have this Summer activities list! Wow, I'll never get bored!
